This half-day masterclass examines the emergence of new trends in data warehouse implementation and the deployment of AI and machine learning (ML) ecosystems. Stephen Brobst will discuss new platform technologies such as GPU-based computing, Spark, open table formats (OTFs), and cloud-based infrastructure deployment. He will also discuss the use of the data mesh methodology to evolve from a traditional centralized warehouse into a decentralized data fabric of data products empowered by generative AI. The implications of these developments for deployment of AI/ML capabilities will be covered, including examples for future architecture and implementation.
