This session will include a moderated Q&A featuring questions from the live audience.

In this session, Gerald Verno will discuss the importance of data governance and master data management in a maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) environment, the challenges faced in previous attempts, and the lessons learned. He will discuss the role of stakeholders in data governance and master data, the importance of executive support and communication, and the need for data policies and guidelines.

The presentation will highlight the key changes made, the importance of creating a culture of data governance, and the importance of data quality and consistency. Verno will provide examples of successful data governance projects in the maintenance environment. The presentation will conclude with key takeaways, the importance of perseverance and continuous improvement in data governance, and a summary of lessons learned from the data governance rollout in the maintenance environment.
