This session will include a moderated Q&A featuring questions from the live audience.
A key success factor for effective data governance is the organization’s ability to create a collaborative environment that allows the various stakeholders to identify, address, and resolve data-related issues. In this talk, Evan Levy will discuss the teams and roles that are essential in meeting these challenges.
Successful data governance programs include more than a single team – there are often multiple teams and players involved in the data governance lifecycle—from planning to execution and from development to deployment.
Who are the different players and the teams that support and deliver on the goals and objectives of a data governance program? What are their duties, and how do they work together?
During this session, Evan Levy will discuss the data governance stakeholder community and review the various teams, their individual players, and their roles and activities. He will also identify some key success criteria for each team within the data governance program.
Levy will discuss:
- The major phases of delivering an effective data governance program
- The core teams and players necessary to support a data governance program
- Each team’s role, responsibility, and activities required to support the program
- Example success criteria for each data governance team
