Predictive Analytics for Practitioners

A TDWI Certificate Track

Phoenix, AZ
March 16–18, 2020

Your Choice

In today’s competitive environment, advanced analytics are table stakes. This three-day seminar provides your team with a comprehensive implementation framework for value-focused advanced analytics, and provides best practices for development of machine learning solutions. Participants will be exposed to both strategic and tactical elements of machine learning with a view on the unique dynamics inherent in larger organizations.

The first day provides a forest-view of goal-driven analytics for growth-minded organizations. Beyond introducing the common machine learning methods leveraged in predictive analytics, participants will understand why assessing and planning for issues like organizational transformation, analytic team construct and valid opportunity identification are essential for successful project deployment and adoption.

Days two and three dive under the hood to explore the two main types of machine learning engines: supervised and unsupervised. Each day focuses on how to prepare data, select machine learning algorithms and deploy models specifically for each unique approach and class of analytic problems. Most importantly, the instructor will explore how to transform and explain the findings from each model type into measurable actions.

Attend all 3 days and earn a certificate.

Remote Virtual Training

TDWI has partnered with Attune to offer virtual classroom opportunities to our students at almost all of our 2020 Seminars. The Virtual Training Room enables remote attendees to experience the benefits of instructor-led training without having to travel. Remote participants experience the same collaboration, instructor interaction, and learning benefits as those who are physically in the classroom. TDWI’s Virtual Training Room technology allows all students to:

  • See and hear everything that is taking place in the live classroom
  • Raise their hands and ask questions
  • View and interact with course content (presentations, videos, whiteboard notes, and more)
  • Participate in real-time collaboration

Virtual Classroom Requirements

All remote users need to participate in a Virtual Training Room event is a computer with a camera, wired* internet connection, speakers, and a microphone — it’s that easy.

PLEASE NOTE: During registration, you will have the option of selecting in-person or virtual attendance. Remote participants will receive all course material via a digital library; in-person attendees will receive printed course books. Digital materials cannot be printed, but access will not expire, and materials can be accessed both online and offline. Webcam use is required during the seminar for all virtual participants.

*Wired internet connection is suggested for stronger connection and reliability; wireless connection is also allowed.
